Milin Parekh – Principal Dentist

Milin graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1985 and undertook further postgraduate training in oral surgery at various hospitals throughout England and achieved the Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1989.

Milin has been in general practice since 1989 and became the principal dentist at Orchard Dental Care in 1996 and continues to work one session a week at a specialist orthodontic practice. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly complex dental cases involving restorative, cosmetic, surgical and orthodontic disciplines. He updates his skills and knowledge by frequently attending courses. He enjoys teaching and has been a trainer of newly qualified dental graduates for the past eight years.

Outside dentistry, he enjoys travelling and playing golf as much as he can.

Rikin Patel – Associate Dentist

BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS (Eng), GDC no: 114338

Rikin qualified with honours from Cardiff University Dental School in 2007 and has recently achieved the newest diploma by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He attends numerous postgraduate training courses and has developed an interest in preventive and cosmetic dental treatment. He combines new age dentistry and a gentle touch to provide every one of his patients with customised dental care.

Outside dentistry, Rikin enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid traveller and cook.

Imran Quasem – Associate Dentist

BDS, MFDS (RCSEd), GDC no: 212494

Imran is an experienced and compassionate dentist with over 10 years of practice in general dentistry. Known for being meticulous and caring, he takes pride in putting patients at ease and developing lasting, trusting relationships. With expertise in all aspects of general dentistry, Imran has pursued a post-graduate qualification with a Diploma in Endodontics from the prestigious King’s College London.

Currently, Imran is expanding skills further through a one-year course in restorative dentistry. A keen advocate for smile transformations, he has a particular interest in Invisalign, whitening, and composite bonding.

Outside of dentistry, Imran has also developed an interest in cooking, and is a devoted family person, spending time with his three young children keeping him very busy. A passionate Manchester United fan, Imran also enjoys watching boxing, MMA and likes go to the gym to try and balance out the foodie in him!

Anand Mistry – Dentist with Special Interest – Endodontist

Anand qualified in 2006 from King’s College London and has worked in General Practice Cornwall, North London and Hertfordshire. In 2009, Anand completed a postgraduate diploma, the MFDS. (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Anand has a Special Interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) and completed a part-time MSc in Endodontics at King’s College London in 2016, passing with Distinction. He was awarded the Henry Schein Excellence Award “For exemplary application of new knowledge and understanding” for his Masters’ dissertation entitled “Systematic Review on Contemporary Irrigant Activation Techniques”. He now focuses his practice to Private Endodontics.

Anand has been working at the practice since 2019 and is here on a monthly basis and offers the following services:

• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning (including use of CBCT scans)
• Non-surgical Root canal Treatment and Re-treatment
• Treatment following Dental Trauma
• Endodontic Microsurgery (Anterior Teeth)
• Removal of posts and separated instruments

Anand is married with 2 daughters and lives in North London. Outside of dentistry, Anand is a football fan and plays regularly in order to keep fit. He is also a keen photographer; specialising in family photography, portraits and wedding events.

Morteza Mazinanian – Specialist Prosthodontist & Implant Surgeon

BSc, BDS (Plymouth 2011), MFDS RCS (Ed), MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (UCL, Distinction), MPros RCS (Ed), GDC no: 212506

Morteza gained his first Bachelors Degree with honours from University College London. He then continued his postgraduate training at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry where he graduated and won the ‘British Dental Association & Ramsay Hunt Prize’.

Following graduation, he worked in general practice where he received recognition for his outstanding performance. He then went on to hold hospital posts in Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Special Care dentistry.

Morteza gained his Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh then went on to complete his specialist training in Prosthodontics at the world renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute. As part of his training Morteza has gained Distinction in highly prestigious Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (UCL). During his training he has won multiple awards such the British Society of Restorative Dentistry’s Gary Pollock and Research Poster awards. He has since gained Membership in Prosthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Morteza joined the Orchard Dental Care team in 2018, and has experience in treatment of complex cases, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. His clinical and research interests include aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry utilising modern approaches in dentistry.

Morteza is a Senior Teaching Fellow at world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. He is involved in training postgraduate dentists and has presented at local and national levels. He is a council member and treasurer of The British Society of Restorative Dentistry.
